New Year's Resolutions Featuring Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

What is your New Year’s resolution for 2009? I thought about joining a gym, but I can't find one that considers the Nintendo Wii as a piece of exercise equipment. Then I thought about watching what I eat, but sitting down to play the arcade game BurgerTime and the Atari 2600 classic Fast Food get my cravings up for junk food. I’d look for a better job, but let’s face it, you can’t get a better gig than playing and writing about the very best video games in history. Finally I decided to spend 2009 focusing on something really important that I’ve been neglecting…PLAYING MORE CLASSIC VIDEO GAMES!
Well it looks like the folks at SEGA have decided to make the very same resolution because they just made the first video game collection announcement of the new year with Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Although not scheduled to come out until Spring of 2009, we’ve got a preview gallery showing off a sampling of the 16-bit wonders held in this Next Gen HD collection.
