The release of the original Street Fighter II was a genre defining moment, by launching fighting games from hardcore enthusiasts to mainstream popularity. So much more successful than its predecessor, SFII shot off into its own separate line of games. When fans hear there is a new SFII game releasing they know exactly what to expect. The key to Capcom's formula is to make each subsequent iteration simply bigger and better versions of the original 1991 arcade classic.
The latest in the series is Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, an upgraded version of the 1994 Super Street Fighter II Turbo arcade game, designed for Next-Gen consoles and the PCs. Delivered to your console and computers via the Xbox Online Arcade, PlayStation Networks and PC services, Turbo HD Remix features new, high-definition, 2D artwork created by the folks behind the Street Fighter II comic book, two-player online competition modes, an optional "rebalanced" mode crafted by professional SFII competitive gamers, a training mode, new moves and loads of other online features. At the core of it all, the gameplay is still the same; it even allows you to play with the original games graphics and sounds.
These screenshots and concept art are just a preview of all the action.
