The release of Street Fighter II in 1991 was a genre defining moment, expanding fighting games from hardcore enthusiasts into mainstream popularity. More successful than its predecessor, SFII shot off into its own separate line of games. When fans hear there is a new SFII game they know exactly what to expect. The key to Capcom's formula is to make each subsequent iteration simply bigger and better versions of the original.
The latest in the series is Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, an upgraded version of the 1994 arcade game Super Street Fighter II Turbo, designed for Next-Gen consoles and the PCs.
Turbo HD Remix features new 2D art, new moves, online competition modes, an optional "rebalanced" mode crafted by SFII competitive gamers, a training mode, and loads of other online features. At the core of it all is the original gameplay, even allowing you to use the original games graphics and sounds.
